The students from Changwon National University (CNU) visited Kyutech Tobata campus during July 23 and August 2 for participating the summer exchange program. This program has been conducted between CNU and Kyutech for more than 20 years since 1996.

15 undergraduate students of Department of Materials Science and Engineering at CNU took Japanese classes and specialized subjects. In particular, they learned about instrumental analysis methods, such as scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction, for characterizing materials. The students also enjoyed and experienced some Japanese culture through a local festival and small tours around Kitakyushu and Fukuoka city area.
