The delegates of Universiti Teknoligi MARA (UiTM) headed by President Prof. Dr. Hassan Said from Malaysia visited Kyutech on October 30th, 2017.
UiTM is one of the members of BIRDS-2 project, which is Kyutech's post-graduate capacity building project of Nano-Satellite development for non-space-faring nations.
Kyutech has already received 2 UiTM researchers as post-graduate students of Kyutech to represent BIRDS-2 Malaysian team. President Prof. Dr. Hassan Said visited the project laboratory to give warm encouragement to them. Those 2 Malaysian post-graduate students also report to the president about their updated progress of their satellite development.
During a courtesy visit to Kyutech President, Kyutech and UiTM has discussed about enhancing the collaboration on Space Engineering, Bio-Chemical Engineering, and so forth, and agreed to continue a discussion by Kyutech visiting to UiTM in Malaysia on November 16th 2017.
