The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is a collective term for the 23 IITs in India that specialize in engineering and science and is also the name of each of these schools. IIT Guwahati established in 1994 located in Assam is one of seven Old IITs established since 1951.
Prof. Emeritus Noda gave a keynote speech at an international conference held at IIT Delhi (the fifth university to be established) in 2012 and a keynote speech at an international conference held at IIT Guwahati (the sixth school to be established) in 2022. In recognition of those related achievements, he was awarded the title of Honorary Professor at IIT Guwahati.
Professor Emeritus Noda will serve as an Honorary Professor at IITG giving lectures and discussions in the department and will strive to promote research and exchange between IIT Guwahati, Kyushu Institute of Technology, and universities in Japan.
