Kyutech welcomes 10 participants from Indian universities for the JST Sakura Science Exchange Program

Kyutech invited 10 participants from partner universities in India (two students from Amity University Noida, three students and one professor from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, two students from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, and two students from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad) from December 8 to 17, 2024, under the JST Sakura Science Exchange Program.

Under the theme of "Training in Information Hardware Technology Using Spintronics," the participants conducted device fabrication in a cleanroom at Kyutech. They also took part in a research exchange program with Yamaguchi University and toured Hiroshima.

Faculty members and students from the Department of Physics and Information Technology at Kyutech’s Iizuka Campus discussed practical experiences and laboratory measurements with the participants and also joined them in Japanese cultural activities.

The program concluded as a valuable experience for Kyutech and the partner universities.
