Kyutech undergrad student wins best presentation award at the 2024 Spring National Conference of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering (JSPE)

Update:2024.07.08

Mr. Norita Kuroe, Department of Intelligent and Control Systems, School of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Kyutech, received the Best Presentation Award at the 2024 Spring National Conference of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering (National Convention). The conference was held at the Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo from March 12 to 14, 2024.

In this research focuses on enabling to purposefully expanding the measurement range of moving nano-particle’s height position from the surface outside the evanescent field with approximately 50 nm resolution. It is ten times higher than the resolution of typical defocus, 500 nm.

Awardee Mr. Norita Kuroe (Department of Intelligent and Control Systems, School of Computer Science and Systems Engineering)
Presentation Title Real-Time Nanoparticle Observation in Cleaning Phenomena by Evanescent Field (7th report: Measurement Distance of Nano-Particle from Surface by using Defocus outside the Evanescent Field)
Supervisor Associate Professor Dr.Panart Khajornrungruang (Department of Intelligent and Control Systems,Faculty of Computer Science and Systems Engineering)
